Kristin Shipulski

Kristin the co-founder and owner of North Shore Cheer Xplosion. She graduated from Bridgewater State College with a degree in education, and from Salem State College with a master's degree in special education. She is currently a special education teacher for the Saugus Public Schools. Her past includes cheering for Saugus High School and Bridgewater State College. Kristin started her coaching career in Saugus coaching for Pop Warner in 1987, 1988, and 1995. She then moved up to the high school coaching the varsity football cheerleaders to 2 NEC titles, and 2 National Championships where they were finalist in 1993 and 1994. Kristin later coached the Danvers High School basketball and football varsity cheerleaders from 1996 to 2000. Her teams won numerous state and regional championships, along with3 NEC championships, and placing as a national finalist in 1997. Her team also won the IC Challenge and Best Choreography Award in 2001 and 2002. She coached the Everett Huskies Pop Warner program to their first National Title in 2000. She coached the Huskies from 1998-2000 where she also won league, state and regional titles. Kristin is first aid, CPR, and USASF certified. She is also a MSSAA certified judge.

Joan Talbot

Joan is a cofounder of North Shore Cheer Xplosion. She started her coaching career in 1985 when she coached the 3 time NEC champions, Varsity Danvers High Football Cheerleaders. Joan coached the girls until 2000 achieving Regional and Invitational titles, as well as becoming national finalist in 1992. She also coached the Danvers Varsity Basketball Cheerleaders from 1999-2000 winning the IC Challenge and Best Choreography Award in 2001 and 2002. Joan is CPR and USASF certified in levels 1-4, and is a MSSAA certified judge.

Tiffany Petruzzella

Tiffany has been a part of North Shore Cheer Xplosion since its beginning in 2002. She cheered for Everett Huskies Pop Warner where she won numerous league, state, and regional championships, as well as becoming a national finalist. She cheered as a member of the Everett High School Varsity Team from 2004- 2007 on their football and basketball teams. She cheered for Xplosion from 2002- 2009 where she won several National Championships. In addition to coaching at NSCX, she has coached Everett Eagles Pop Warner, 2007-present, where she has won league, state, and a National Title. She is first aid, CPR, and USASF certified in levels 1-4. Tiffany has also done, and continues to do, choreography for several middle school, youth, high school and all star teams.

Marissa Kelleher

Marissa has been at coach at North Shore Cheer Xplosion since 2007. Her past includes cheerleading for Medford Pop Warner and East Elite All Stars where she won several championships. She coached Saugus Pop Warner cheerleading from 1999-2006 winning league, state, and regional championships; and placing as national finalist several times. She directed the Saugus Program in 2007, under her direction the town won 4 league titles, a state and regional title, and was first runner up at the National PW Championships. In addition to coaching at NSCX, she is a coach for Everett Eagles Pop Warner (2009- present) where she has won one National Championship, and current Wakefield High School coach. She is first aid, CPR, MSSAA, and USASF certified. She continues to do choreography for middle school, youth, high school and all star teams. She is a 2009 graduate of Salem State college with a double major in Elementary Education and Sociology.

Jeana Forestier

Jeana joined North Shore Cheer Xplosion in 2004. Jeana cheered for Saugus Pop Warner from 1994-1999. She continued onto the Saugus High where she cheered on their Varsity football, hockey, and basketball teams from 2000-2004. She was captain of the team during 2002 and 2004. Jeana also cheered for Northeast All Stars from 2001-2004 and Salem State College from 2004- 2007. In 2001 she began coaching for Saugus Pop Warner where she won numerous league, state, and regional titles, along with placing second at the national championships in 2007. After leaving the pop warner program in 2007 she continued onto Saugus High School where she currently coaches. Jeana is first aid, CPR, MSSAA, and USASF certified. She is a 2010 graduate of Salem State College with a double major in Early Childhood Education and Sociology.

Nicole Sisson

Nicole has been coaching at North Shore Cheer Xplosion since 2005. Her past consists of 14 years experience at Performing Arts Unlimited and 5 years as an instructor in dance and gymnastics. She cheered four years at Northeast Metro Tech Vocational Institute, and now in addition with coaching at NSCX, trains several local youth teams. She is USASF certified for coaching and is a MSSAA certified judge.

Erin O'Donnell

Erin has been a part of North Shore Cheer Xplosion since 2005. She graduated from Melrose High School in 1994 as the captain of the MHS gymnastics team. She then went on to attend Salem State College where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education. Erin was the team coach of Melrose YMCA gymnastics from 1994- 1999 and the team director/ head coach, for all competitive teams and levels from 1999-2002. In addition, she was the head coach of Reading High School gymnastics from 1995-2002, while simultaneously coaching at Reading Gymnastics Academy from 1995-1999. Erin is USA Gymnastics Safety Certified, CPR and First Aid certified.

Nicole Therrian

Nicole cheered for Cheer Xplosion from 2004-2007 where she was also captain. She moved on to cheer for Everett High School football/basketball from 2002-2006 where she was captain her senior year. She graduated from UNH in 2010 with a degree in elementary education. She also cheered for UNH where she was captain from 2006-2009.
